I’m kim!
…the baker behind Kim’s Confectionery Co. I’m a self taught home-based baker dedicated to crafting high quality homemade desserts.
Every recipe is made from scratch with care, creativity and attention to detail. My goal is to create desserts that not only taste amazing but also leave a lasting impression.
How I Got Started
As a Mom of four, for years my life revolved around busy schedules filled with sports, football, cheer, basketball and every other sport you could think of. In the middle of all that chaos, baking became my constant.
Whether it was for family gatherings, tailgates, or celebrations, I loved to bring desserts. Some of my favorite memories were made at home, gathered around the TV watching football as a family. Appetizers & desserts were a must.
Over the years, what started as something I loved to do grew into a true passion. I found joy not just in baking, but in creating desserts that brought people together & made moments feel special.
Now that my kids are grown, I found myself with space to fill – and I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Baking wasn’t just a hobby anymore, it was something I wanted to turn into something more.
Kim’s Confectionery Co. was born from those years of love, family & tradition. I’m so excited to continue this journey, sharing my desserts with you and being a small part of your special moments.
A Few Fun Facts
Baking is my form of meditation – it’s where I find peace and creativity.
First thing I ever baked was chocolate chip cookies from a Betty Crocker paperback cookbook.
It took me a year and a half to create the perfect “Northern Biscuit”
I can play ping pong well – really well. My family has yet to beat me!
